Remove a Background in ConnexaX and Export PNG: Step-by-Step

This tutorial covers the actual tool sequence. Use a clear source image, let the local model finish processing, then inspect the transparent result before downloading it.

Step-by-step workflow

    Open Background Remover

    Go to the ConnexaX Background Remover and keep the source image on your device.

    Choose a supported image

    Upload a clear JPG, PNG or WebP image within the tool's file-size limit.

    Start local AI removal

    Click Remove Background. On the first run, allow time for model or runtime assets to load in the browser.

    Wait for processing to finish

    Keep the tab open while the browser runs the segmentation workflow.

    Inspect difficult edges

    Check hair, fingers, clothing, glass, shadows and soft edges on the checkerboard preview.

    Compare with the original

    Make sure important subject areas were not removed and obvious background fragments are not left behind.

    Download the transparent PNG

    Save the PNG, then preview it on both light and dark backgrounds before using it in a final design.

The selected source image is processed in your browser and is not uploaded to a ConnexaX or third-party background-removal inference API. Model or runtime files may still download to your browser.
